Small Batch Ales and Lagers brewed on a Small Island...

In December of 2016, Michel Garratt's mid life crisis evolved into Mayne Island Brewing Company. Michael's passion for home brewing and expert palette of all things to be savoured and quaffed developed over his 22 years of sales in the BC wine Industry. 

   Mayne Island has been home to Michael and Annette and their son Jasper and Daughter Grace since 2005 and the Home Based Business Brewery was the perfect way to involve everyone in the family endeavour. Brewer-Michael brews, cleans and tastes. Artist-Annette hand prints all the Swag and runs the office and tasting room. Jasper and Grace help with bottling, labeling, and much more.

    MIBC produces over 15 styles of bottle conditioned Ale's and Lager's in small 140 litre batches and have won a few accolades over the last 2 years:

3rd for the BEET BUCK , 1st For PUNCH'S BARREL AGED FARMHOUSE from the  BC brewing Awards and silver for the BARREL AGED BROWN at the Canadian Brewing Awards. 

    Available in 4 packs of 330 ml bottles  ($14.00 tax inc) and 750 ml bottles ($9.00 Tax inc) and  soon tasting flights and taster glasses of tapped beer will be available at our Picnic area on site at the brewery.
