In December of 2016, Micheal Garratt's mid life crisis evolved into Mayne Island Brewing Company. Michael's passion for home brewing and expert palette of all things to be savoured and quaffed developed over his 20 years of sales in the BC wine Industry. 

   Mayne Island Brewing Company is a home based business situated on the wooded lot which has been home to Michael, Annette and children Jasper and Grace since 2005.  Michael brews, cleans and tastes. Artist-Annette hand prints all the Swag and runs the office and helps in the tasting room. Jasper and Grace help with bottling & labeling.

    MIBC produces over 15 styles of bottle conditioned Ale's and Lager's in small 140 litre batches and have won a few accolades over the last 5 years at both the BC Brewing  and The Canadian Brewing Awards. 

Available in mixed 4 or 6 packs of 330 ml bottles and 750 ml bottles

Tasting flights of 4 x 3oz pours can be enjoyed at our outdoor expanded tasting room  while seated around Wooden Slab tables.

Our beer can also be found at Dam Fine Restaurants on Mayne Island and across Vancouver and in Sidney and Victoria.
